Generals Find Success in Richmond!

The Winchester Generals have a strong showing in Richmond on May 23-24 to close out the 2008-9 season. The minor team had unprecedented success, winning 3 of their 7 games. The major team secured their first real win of their existence verses Dream Sports Dragons of Raleigh, NC 10-8.

The Generals Minor team shows promise for the upcoming season with a very good effort against worthy opponents in the last weekend of this season.
Lost 1-9 to Richmond Robins
Lost 2-4 to Maryland Crusaders
Won 5-2 against Maryland Crusaders
Lost 0-4 to Dream Sports Dragons
Won 6-4 against Dream Sports Dragons
Lost 2-3 to Dream Sports Dragons
Won 5-3 against Maryland Crusaders

Winchester Generals are a Not-Intended-For-Profit division of Ironman Sports LLC. The Generals were founded by Member (co-owner) Rodney Brown with the support of many inline hockey players in the Winchester, VA area. The goal of the Generals organization is to provide a high level of competitive inline hockey not just for adult players, but also for the youth players as they reach the age required (currently 16+).
