GENERALS FUNDING

The Generals organization is funded by player fees, fundraising income, sponsorships and annonymous gifts. We are the only organization (to our knowledge) in the American Inline Hockey League that does not charge admission to home games.

We want to provide the best possible home game experience for our players, dancers, and fans, as well as give the local youth and families an opportunity to see the highest level of inline hockey in the United States at no charge.

Our home games will be very entertaining as the speed of major league hockey is surprisingly enjoyable to watch. Plus, we will have arena music, halftime entertainment and youth performances on game days.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Winchester Generals endeavor to provide a great experience for players and fans of inline hockey while promoting the sport in the Winchester, VA area. Our goal is to promote a program of progress and entertainment for all ages in the competitive and recreational world of inline hockey through major league events and community involvement.

The Winchester Generals proudly support their sponsors. The Glory Days Grill is generously returning the favor by giving us 10% back on all our receipts from dining at Glory Days, including To Go. This includes players, volunteers, fans, and people that just want to help us out. All you have to do is dine at Glory Days Grill, get a copy of the guest check, and give it to us at the Sportsplex while we are there, or mail it in. Please click below for the handout. GLORY DAYS' CHUCK - A - PUCK

At Winchester Generals home games 5-10 contestants will receive the opportunity to "chuck - a - puck" for a chance at a $25 Glory Days Gift Certificate, or even $100!

Contestants will stand towards one end of the rink and toss a puck toward the center line. The closest to the center line will win a $25 Glory Days Gift Certificate. Anyone that can land the puck COMPLETELY on the center line will win a check for $100!

To compete in the Glory Days' Chuck - A - Piuck costs $2 per puck, or $5 for 3 pucks (3 puck maximum per contestant). A maximum of 10 contestants will participate. Chuck - A - Puck will take place during one of the Halftimes.

Winchester Generals are a Not-Intended-For-Profit division of Ironman Sports LLC. The Generals were founded by Rodney Brown with the support of many inline hockey players in the Winchester, VA area. The goal of the Generals organization is to provide a high level of competitive inline hockey not just for adult players, but also for the youth players as they reach the age required (currently 16+).
