SEASON INCLUDES:
32 Regular Season Games
Approximately 20 practices
(currently practices are held on Monday evenings. Some practices may be held on non-event weekends)
Eligibility to participate
in other Generals activities such as team social events and tournaments.
(Season Fee does not include non-season tournaments and off-season practices)
Though the Generals are not currently known for their ability to dominate a major league division, they are recognized as an organized and player friendly organization, providing an enjoyable experience.
Financially, players receive more hockey for their money, and of a higher quality, than an other hockey program in the area.
PLAYER FEES
Season Fees = $0-300
Season fees will be collected monthly October 2009 - February 2010. Players will be able to reduce or eliminate their player fees through fundraising efforts during that time.
Jersey Fees = $0-180
Generals players will be using the same jerseys and pants as last season, so returning players will not have a jersey fee. New players will need to purchase their jerseys(2) and pants. This fee must be paid before these items are ordered in early October.

PLAYERS FEE SCHEDULE
Generals players will have their season fees on a monthly schedule. Each player has the ability to reduce or eliminate their fees through fundraising efforts.
October 1, 2009 = $100
This fee can be reduced or eliminated by successful participation in the Monday Night Football Raffle Ticket Fundraiser.
November, 1, 2009 = $50
This fee can be reduced or eliminated by successful participation in the Generals Fun Nite Ticket Sales Fundraiser.
December, 1 2009 = $50
This fee can be reduced or eliminated by participation in the Generals Apparel Fundraiser.
January, 1 2010 = $50
February, 1 2010 = $50
Players fees combine with sponsorships and fundraising efforts to cover the expenses of the season, such as: rink rental, locker room rental, referee fees, league fees, pucks, and other operating expenses. Successful fundraising and sponsorship programs could also help cover the expenses involved in road games.
AAU Membership:
All Generals players must have AAU membership to compete in the AIHL games. Follow the link and instructions below:

Winchester Generals are a Not-Intended-For-Profit division of Ironman Sports LLC. The Generals were founded by Rodney Brown with the support of many inline hockey players in the Winchester, VA area. The goal of the Generals organization is to provide a high level of competitive inline hockey not just for adult players, but also for the youth players as they reach the age required (currently 16+).
